A cute little spot for fine dining with a special emphasis on presentation and preparation. I went here for dinner on a solo trip and it was an incredible experience. The staff too such great care of me. The food was also one of the best meals I've had in my life. I can't say enough about how much I loved this place. A must if you are visiting Copenhagen!
The menu is simple, but every dish is excellent. We chose the 3-course menu and selected all items from the à la carte menu. The white asparagus with shrimp was creative and delicious. The flambéed beefsteak and signature slow-cooked veal were both outstanding, with the steak prepared tableside, adding an exciting visual element to the experience. Service was equally impressive. Our English-speaking server (whose name we unfortunately didn't catch) was warm and knowledgeable with a big smile when explaining the dishes. The Danish-Canadian (guess he must be) owner was also very attentive, making the guests have a good time. Located near St. Peter's Cathedral, the restaurant sits in a charming neighborhood of colorful historic buildings. The space is small and cozy, with thoughtful yet subtle Danish design details. It can get quite noisy when other guests are speaking loudly, but the food and service make it well worth a visit.
If you’re wandering through the Pisserenden district and fancy a spot that feels like a well-kept secret, One Ten Providence is an absolute gem. I dropped by a couple of weeks ago, and it’s easily one of the most soul-stirring meals I’ve had in Copenhagen recently. The only pictures I took were off the cute skirting board scenes on the way out - a local feature. Great food, atmosphere and conversation took over before I knew it! The restaurant is tucked away in a stunning, heritage-listed apartment from 1809. It’s intimate, family-run, and has that effortless ‘hygge’ charm without trying too hard. It’s the kind of place where the staff actually care about the story behind the ingredients. We opted for the tasting menu, and it was a masterclass in French technique met with Nordic freshness. The wine matching is where this place really shines. Instead of just pouring a glass, the team narrates a story for each bottle. Their cellar is clearly curated by someone with a serious passion for French and European bins. For the quality of the gastronomy and the personal service, the value for money is unbeatable for central Copenhagen. Whether it’s a romantic date or a chilled dinner with friends, this is a 5-star experience. It’s a small space, so definitely book ahead! If this was helpful, please ‘Like’!
This place is amazing. Food in amazing. Cheese board amazing. You get a story about every cheese and they are amazing. Got the tartare, it was made tableside and the steak, fried tableside. An amazing experience and show. Cozy place and awesome atmosphere. Attentive staff and we did not miss anything
We recently visited One Ten Providence in Copenhagen and had a very enjoyable experience overall. The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere, and from the moment we arrived, the service was attentive and friendly. One pleasant surprise was that they offer Tokaji, which was an unexpected but fantastic discovery. For anyone who knows this famous Hungarian wine, it’s definitely an unmissable choice and a wonderful addition to the meal. The food itself was very good. Each dish was nicely presented and clearly prepared with care. The flavors were balanced, and you could see the attention to detail in the presentation. It made the whole dining experience feel a bit more special. Service was also very good, especially from the gentleman who looked after our table. He was professional, attentive, and made sure everything was running smoothly throughout the evening. One of the highlights of the visit was the pancake show, which is something you definitely shouldn’t miss. It adds a fun and memorable element to the meal and makes the experience stand out from a typical restaurant visit. Overall, it was a very pleasant dining experience with tasty food, good service, and a few delightful surprises along the way. If you’re in Copenhagen, it’s certainly worth a visit.
