I finally found a menu that captures the essence of Danish summer: beautiful flavors, very pretty dishes, well balanced in fattiness, freshness and acidity, a triumph of colors and little flowers and herbs picked everywhere in Sjælland, main ingredients being valued and put at the center of each dish, and a very cohesive menu around the classics of Danish summer (rhubarb, green peas, fresh seafood, cucumber, new potatoes) in a way that still makes every dish interesting, original and msot of all super yummy. The juice pairing pairs extremely well with every dish, echoing the same ingredients and bringing extra flavor and color to the table. The chefs are talented, the service was impeccable, and Alexander, the sommelier and main host, was extremely graceful and went the extra mile so that my dinner could be the best experience possible. Highly recommend, especially now that it's summer!
Top dining experience of any country or restaurant I have ever visited… the food was incredible and the service was amazing.
