Indian Taj Restaurant er den første indiske restaurant i Skandinavien. Ahluwalia-familien grunnla Indian Taj Restaurant i 1973. Ahluwalia-familien besøkte Danmark i 1971 og ønsket indisk mat, men kunne ikke finne noen indiske restauranter. I 1972 bestemte Ahluwalia-familien seg for å flytte fra England til Danmark for å åpne den første indiske restauranten i Skandinavia.<\/p>
