Amazing bakery with super friendly staff and excellent service. The pistachio croissant was one of the best I’ve ever had, and the iced latte was delicious. Fresh, high-quality products and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend! 🥐☕
I ordered the pistachio croissant, a café latte, and an Americano. Placing the order at the counter and pick it up when it's ready. The café was very busy, and it took a while to find an empty table, but that only showed how popular the place is. The rich, buttery croissant paired perfectly with the smooth pistachio cream, and it went wonderfully with the Americano. It was so delicious that I finished it in no time. If you're looking for a great café in Copenhagen, this is definitely worth a visit.
This cafe wasn't on our Copenhagen itinerary, but stumbling upon it was the best accident ever—we liked it so much we had to return! I absolutely didn't expect such a flavor party in my mouth. The butter flavor was rich and beautifully maintained without being burnt. Every single pastry had its own unique, customized cream, and the fruit notes were perfectly balanced, not overpowering at all. Plus, the portions were generous!
Oh, I love the pastries here! It's easy to understand why they're so popular on social media. The cake I chose was delicious, with a lovely buttery aroma and just the right amount of sweetness. The matcha latte was also fantastic. The only downside is the price is a bit high, but that's understandable given the bakery's prime location.
Buka is excellent. I was a little surprised to see several people give it a 4, because I honestly do not quite understand that score unless they were judging it for something it is not trying to be. We ordered seven or eight different pastries and every one of them was good in its own way. A few were stronger than others, but there was not a real miss. The pistachio croissant was the standout for me. This place is clearly built around pastry, and it does that very well. The laminated items had great texture, real richness, and looked every bit as good as they tasted. If you are grading it as a bakery focused on sweet pastries and a narrower offering, I think it is more like a 4.6 or 4.7, which rounds up to a 5. If someone walks in wanting a broader menu, more savory choices, or a more balanced food lineup, then I can at least see the case for a 4.4 that rounds down to a 4. Service was solid, pricing felt fair at roughly $10 to $15 per person, and overall there was not much to complain about. That alone says a lot. It is best for anyone wanting an excellent pastry stop, and I think groups of two to four work especially well since you can try a range of things without going completely off the rails. No parking that we saw, so this is more of a walk, cab, or transit stop. I would absolutely go back. If you like pastries, this is an easy yes.
