Was 45 mins late to my booking but they were super nice to accommodate. Still recommend to book in advance as it gets busy at night. Id describe the restaurant as Danish fine dining with excellent table service. The staff here was amazing and was quick to refill my glass when it was close to empty. Every dish i had was exceptional but the one that surprised me the most was the fromage. I usually don't order this kind of dessert but this was a goal and superbly well done. The elderflower drink is distinctly danish and I highly recommend it. Easily top 3 restaurant during my 3 day stay in copenhagen.
I made a reservation through the booking site. The staff's service was excellent. I chose the course menu and thoroughly enjoyed the traditional Danish cuisine. The wine pairing and timing of the dishes were perfect. It gets very crowded, so I highly recommend making a reservation! It's a short walk from the Metro station, but there are many shops along the way, so I enjoyed strolling and looking around. This time I had seafood, so next time I'd like to order meat. Thank you for the wonderful meal!
Tasty, chaotic, traditional…everything you could wish for when trying your first proper Danish Christmas dinner. Santa Claus must work in the kitchen! Great food in copious amounts. Raucous crowd having a great time, but to be expected for this type of meal. Hostess at the entry was not the most friendly, but our server was kind and explained the dishes well. Accommodated request to change a dessert last minute due to an allergy. Overall fun experience, would recommend!
I was so lucky to have the most exceptionally kind servers. They recommended an amazing meal, they were kind and hospitable to the end. The food was absolute stunning. The price is totally justified, do not skip the Aquavita. It ends the meal perfectly. Thank you so much to the staff and also the lovely other dinners who chatted with me as I was solo. An absolutely delightful experience.
We have chosen this restaurant as we wanted to experience Danish cuisine. Although they consider this place as french-danish restaurant we managed to pick dishes that reflects Danish cuisine. As starters we asked for a shrimp bisque and smoked salmon with poached egg and spinach over a slice of bread. Both of them very delicious and beautifully served. As main courses we picked a seafood platter(cod fish) and meat( sirloin?). Fish was very good cooked and tasteful. However, when it comes to meat, although it was quite tasteful, probably nerves/veins of the meat was not properly cleaned, this made it hard to chew some parts of it. We had beer as drink which was produced by a local, respectively new brewery and its taste was good.
