A wonderful experience at this fine-dining restaurant. The dishes take you on a journey through a world of subtle, expertly crafted flavors. The wine pairing is sublime! A minor downside: the accents of some of the servers made it somewhat difficult to understand the descriptions of the dishes.
The place was lovely and the staff and service impeccable. The menu was good but it had some flaws, I wish they'd keep the central ingredients more true to their nature (like the oyster dish, which only had an oyster foam, and not the oyster itself, that's a pity), and in general the først few dishes had a sweet undertone that made me crave for more salt and umami and savory. The price is also on the steep side for a one star, and the portion were a bit too small. But all in all a good experience.
Outstanding dining experience across the board. Of all of the Michelin Star restaurants we tried in Copenhagen, this was overall the best by far. Amazing food, venue and service.
An absolutely exceptional dining experience. During our trip to Copenhagen, we chose Aure after exploring many fine restaurants — and everything was simply perfect. The tables were well spaced, offering a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Service was seamless and precise, yet never stiff — it felt effortlessly elegant. The cuisine was outstanding, highlighting local ingredients with remarkable depth and harmony of flavors. Every course was engaging and beautifully executed. If we ever return to Copenhagen, this will be the first restaurant we revisit.
Aure is one of the newest Michelin star dining destinations in Copenhagen and absolutely worth it. The food highlights fresh local ingredients, the dishes aren't too busy/crowded, but packed with gentle flavours. The baby leek dish was the biggest testament to this philosophy - and probably my favourite of the whole 12+ course menu. Wine pairing was executed flawlessly, consisting mostly white wines. I'm very curious to see where they'll be in a couple of years, and I'm excited to come back.
