Such a beautiful Brasserie. The Atmosphere is just incredible, dining right infront of the Tivoli gardens. Just a perfect dining spot in town, it is just across Copenhagen Central Station. They got a wide variety of breakfast and serve some of their locally produced fresh products and the team is so friendly and welcoming. From the moment we arrived, NIMB Bistro made our anniversary feel genuinely special. The hostess was exceptionally welcoming and gave us such thoughtful, personal attention. Our waiter, Marcus, was equally wonderful: warm, attentive, and wonderfully intuitive about what we might need before we even asked. He took time to explain several dishes and their ingredients, especially a dessert we were considering, and even created a special drink for me using ingredients I requested. Every detail felt considered, and the meal, service, and overall experience exceeded our expectations. Our only regret is that we live in California and cannot make NIMB Bistro a regular stop. But the next time we are in Copenhagen, we will absolutely make a point to return. Thank you to Marcus, the hostess, and the entire team for an incredible meal and memories we will carry with us for a long time.
The atmosphere is truly enchanting, but unfortunately the overall experience was disappointing. It’s hard to evaluate the food quality because it was served cold. With the steak, they didn’t even bother to bring the proper knife. We had to wait a very long time for our food, with no appetizers offered while waiting. The service was cold and unfriendly, which makes me want to avoid this place in the future — especially when it was obvious that local guests were being served quickly and with a smile. It’s such a shame that such a beautiful place is ruined by poor service. Even empty glasses that were clearly no longer needed were left on our table.
