We had the degustation 6 course menu with both the normal and a vegetarian option. Some of the courses were great, like the Turbot and the Grilled Tenderloin. What stood out was the Beetroot flower. However, the overall experience was a bit underwhelming, especially for Michelin star rated French- Nordic cuisine. The biggest let down was the Signature chocolate caviar surprise, with the Swedish pancakes served cold ( not warm) and soggy ( not crisp). Also expect nothing additional from their service even if its your birthday, anniversary or any other special occasion. Overall will i recommend this, No, will I ever come back to taste anything else on their menu, definitely No.
We had an amazing dining experience at Marchal. Every dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, with outstanding flavors and impeccable quality. The Caviar Chocolate dessert was especially memorable—creative, unique, and one of the best desserts we’ve ever had. The service was just as exceptional. Our waitress was incredibly kind, attentive, and very well-mannered, making us feel welcome throughout the evening. A truly outstanding fine dining experience in Copenhagen. We highly recommend Marchal and can’t wait to return.
Marchal offers an exquisite French luxury dining experience in the heart of Copenhagen. It’s one of the few Michelin-star restaurants in the city that offers an à la carte menu in addition to the typical set-menu setup. The food is amazing and the portions are filling. Extremely child friendly and with lovely staff and atmosphere.
Probably my absolute favorite “fancy” restaurant in Copenhagen. One of the relatively few Michelin restaurants that serve actual food and still earn a star. Highly recommend the canard presse but I honestly doubt you can go wrong on this menu.
