Most reasonably priced venue by the water. Drinks were absolutely delicious and great value. Food was wonderful too. Staff were lovely but it was odd that I had to request gf bread to accompany my bisque (which came with bread) and was pre-warned the wait may be 20 mins to 'heat up' a gf roll. I said I was happy to wait and ordered. As I enjoyed my drink our meal suddenly arrived within 5mins minus the accompanying bread. Thinking I misunderstood I waited for the bread watching my meal go cold. I had some bisque, as I waited, and it was delicious but was very odd to us that it was served minus the bread which came 15 mins later as I finished and the bisque was almost cold. The rest of the meal was lovely but it was also hard to fully relax as it was so warm in the venue esp if you're tightly squished into their high velvet booths as I was with my partner. Despite these small things we would visit again if we were in town.
My steak was not cooked properly as asked, menu is lowkey boring but they try to make an effort so I’m okay! Atmosphere was super loud and waitress was the main show of the night with some wine recommendation!
A French-inspired restaurant on the grounds of the now defunct Noma could be a very expensive affair, and yet it isn’t. No idea how, the prices are well below Copenhagen average (and really oddly formulated, just check the menu). We were a party of six, and ate much. Staters range around 50 kr and are very decently sized. So we took two per person. The entrecôte were well cooked despite asking for three different cooking times. The desserts are huge. The drinks are reasonably cheap. Of course nothing to write home about (maybe the enormous butter slab on the entrecote is newsworthy), but one leaves with a full stomach and the odd feeling of having underpaid, which it’s such an anomaly in Denmark that I’m still wrapping my head around it. Good for groups, service has an attitude.
