Love a food hall, lots of restaurants and variety. Little seating except outside, so ideal on nice weather days. Great for trying multiple places and sharing.

TorvehallerneKBH is one of the highlights of Copenhagen and a fantastic place to experience the city’s food scene. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with a great mix of local produce, fresh seafood, and excellent food stalls all under one roof. The seafood in particular was outstanding. The fresh fish and shellfish were beautifully displayed and tasted just as good as they looked. The pan-fried plaice with peas was simple, fresh, and full of flavour, while the mussels and other seafood dishes showcased the quality of the ingredients perfectly. What makes Torvehallerne special is the variety. You can wander around, discover different vendors, and try everything from traditional Danish dishes to fresh seafood and international food. The atmosphere is relaxed and vibrant, making it equally enjoyable for a quick lunch, a leisurely meal, or simply exploring the market. If you enjoy good food and fresh ingredients, this is an absolute must-visit in Copenhagen. Whether you’re a local or visiting the city for the first time, Torvehallerne offers a genuine taste of Copenhagen’s culinary scene and is somewhere I would happily return to again and again.

Very good place for fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, beer, wine, other liquors. Some stores also serve food and other meat shops and stuff. Will also cook whatever you buy. Very good place to go in and pick out exactly what you want and have them fix it for you and then sit outside or some places have inside tables behind their shop. Very good. Very fresh and somewhat cheaper than going to a restaurant but better food.

A must see for any tourist that likes marketplaces and food halls. The variety is very thought of - there are stalls with fresh produce, plants, pork, deli, fish and plenty of restaurants. The pork sandwich and the smorrebrod stalls were the ones with the longest queues. The fish n chips looked inviting too though I didn’t order it.

This was our go-to place for lunch and dinner on three days during our Copenhagen vacation. The variety and freshness of the food were truly excellent. Prices are average, or slightly above average, but the wide selection makes this reasonable. We especially opted for seafood and didn't regret it. You can also eat at the public benches outside.
