The young entrepreneur Danni Nguyen, born and raised in Denmark with Danish/Vietnamese parents, was only 22 when he opened his Spicylicious in Instedgade, near the Central Station in Copenhagen, and the superb Thai and Vietnamese cuisine served here really IS spicy and delicious.
The modern and stylish restaurant has become a popular venue for lovers of Asian food and Danni Nguyen has decorated his Spicylicious with white table cloths, dark wooden furniture, candles and colorful paintings on the white walls, and created a cozy and warm ambience. The staff is friendly and the prices are a bit higher than in other Asian places, yet relatively inexpensive. You could take your loved one here for a romantic meal, or just treat yourself with delicious Asian food.
The creative Chef has put together a menu offering a large selection of traditional and new, innovative dishes where the best from the traditional Thai and Vietnamese cuisine has joined in an exciting fusion. Try Kung Mapraow Tod;coconut marinated tiger prawns with chili sauce, Gai Hor Bai Thoy Gratiam Prik Thai; garlic and pepper marinated chicken in banana leaves or Mussaman Curry with beef and a Tiger, Singa or Sapphoro beer to make the Asian culinary experience complete.
Spicylicious gives 10 % discount on all take away food. The restaurant doesn’t accept credit cards, only cash payment.
