Amazing food with an intimate atmosphere. Every dish had a unique flavor and take. Upscale without being too stuffy
Great vibes, comfortable seating. Dishes are all bursting with flavours and my favorite was the monkfish.
This Michelin Guide Mention restaurant is typical of Copenhagen’s buzzing restaurant scene, where obscure eateries hidden in an affluent residential block is offering traditional food with twists that are unusual and world class. Booking is essential for this small and very popular restaurant which is half Italian and half Danish. The kitchen and serving staff operate like a well drilled team in full view of the diners and deliver world class tastes and flavours - at least this was our experience on a random Wednesday night in early May. Small dishes packed with unpronounceable tastes and lovely delivery- I cannot praise these people enough. From the clam & mollusks pasta, to the tuna and steak tartare, rounded off with the crème caramel- brilliant !!! It’s not cheap but it is memorable
What a spot. The dishes were so flavorful and at/or above the taste of Michelin star restaurants I’ve been to this year. The Monkfish bisque is a must, along with the Ragu. Tip of the hat to the staff for making this a wonderful dining experience while I was in Copenhagen!
We had a fantastic evening here tonight. I highly recommend Calma for any foodie! We loved all the dishes - some really exciting ingredients and beautiful playing. The artichoke dish was our favourite. Staff are super kind and friendly - it was such a pleasure to be there. Very attentive service and great recommendations. Very vibrant atmosphere. Loved watching the chefs work in the open kitchen. Can’t wait to come back!
