One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Everything was outstanding from start to finish. The barbecue octopus was the absolute highlight: beautifully cooked, deeply flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The pork was also excellent, seasoned perfectly and cooked so tenderly. The crayfish appetizer was delicious, and the rhubarb and white chocolate dessert was unforgettable, creative, bright, and the perfect ending to the meal. The whole experience felt special without being pretentious. Every dish was thoughtful, flavorful, and memorable. Bruce was easily one of my favorite meals in Copenhagen and one of the best dining experiences I’ve had anywhere. I would come back in a heartbeat.
We had the smørrebrød lunch at Bruce, and we loved it. Went for 3 different ones plus a starter. Cheese dessert to follow. Great service, too!
If you are looking for grate dinning experience in Copenhagen, then this is place” must be on your list. Creativity and taste is put in the first place to deliver as much joy as you can get. Strongly recommended!!!
Visited in March 2026. We had the tasting menu, which was interesting, filling enough, and not too heavy. The snacks and soup were surprisingly good. The chicken dish was great, mainly because of the mushrooms. The brioche with mussels was the only dish that was slightly disappointing, but that's mainly because I had high expectations, otherwise it was a decent dish. Even though the food was good, the best part of the visit was the staff. Service was quick, friendly and professional. Unlike many places in Copenhagen, Bruce was properly staffed, so the dinner pace was good and it didn't feel like the servers were overwhelmed. That helped contribute to a nice atmosphere. The drinks options were good and included a wine pairing, cocktails, craft beer, kombucha, and homemade lemonade. I tried the Springsteen, which I can very much recommend. Overall, I very much enjoyed my visit and would love to come back :)
This is a culinary gem that offers an unforgettable dining experience. The restaurant impresses with its innovative flavor combinations and dishes that are rarely encountered. We started with a delicate fried emperor hat served with celeriac, roasted shallots and wild boar stock. Next, the mussel toast, which was a real treat, with mussels á la creme on sourdough brioche, topped with fennel and pomegranate, providing a perfect balance between the salty and the sweet. The main course was stuffed chicken with scorzonera root, oyster mushrooms and chicken sauce with fermented tomato. So juicy. The dessert, a waffle with coffee mousse, kefir ice cream and honey/lime syrup, was a sweet end to the meal, leaving us with a feeling of satisfaction and longing for more. Service was 10/10, with an attentive and knowledgeable waiter ensuring the pace of the dishes was perfectly timed. This allowed us to enjoy every bite without any stress or rush. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience that I highly recommend to all food enthusiasts.
