Chose Skipperkroen for the smoresbord fish and lunch overlooking the harbour. Cheerful service, fresh delicious food and beer/wine. Heaters welcome on a cold day.

Skipperkroen is an absolute gem in Copenhagen. The atmosphere alone is worth the visit — cozy, historic, and full of character. It feels like stepping into a classic sailor’s tavern with warm lighting, wood beams, and incredible old-world charm. The service was friendly and welcoming, and it’s the perfect spot to warm up on a cold Copenhagen day. Great place to relax, enjoy a drink, and soak in authentic Danish pub vibes. Highly recommend if you want something with personality instead of a generic tourist bar.

The service was amazing. The vibe was nice. The food was good. Felt a tad bit pricey but is an amazing choice to eat out when in nyhavn.

This is my first experience of a danish restaurant/cafe in Denmark, they have English menu so I can understand it, I ordered a sandwhich and ended up with what we’d call a burger & fries at home, the staff were kind and friendly and helpful, I have never seen a towel drying rack in a toilet! This was different and a tiny toilet area there was 2 and both very tiny you pretty much need to back into haha
