Located few steps from Rådhuspladsen, in the heart of Copenhagen, Rosie Mcgee's offers you the chance to experience delicious and authentic Mexican and Tex Mex cuisine--and atmosphere.

Inside the lavish and beautiful interior, Rosie McGee's serves fresh and funky Texan and Mexican food served from the Tex Mex kitchen alongside more local and international alcohol than you can shake a stick at. Large, intricately carved wooden figures adorn the bar. A complicated belt system operates the authentic fans on the ceiling, and old-style gas lamps complete the picture. Rosie McGee's is all about fun, and its non-pretentious prices and guests reflect this.

At lunch, Rosie's serves a huge selection of Mexican food. Try the Texas Peppers--mild Jalapenos stuffed with cheese and baked until crispy golden brown and served with a ranch dip for DKK 59, or the Love me Tender: finely sliced chicken breast marinated in country barbecue sauce or honey mustard dressing (also DKK 59)--it must be tasted!

For more substantial fare in the evenings try McGee's Rack of BBQ ribs, served Western Mississippi style. There are two set menus on offer that feature popular starters, mains and desserts.

Around 11 p.m. each night, Rosie McGee's transforms into one of Copenhagen´s more popular nightclubs with a rowdy Southern American flavor. Four bars spread over two dance floors play host to international DJs, fun-loving bartenders, and a laid back, friendly crowd made up of a mix of Europeans and locals. The dress code is casual but not too casual--don't turn up in ratty old Converse or jeans with giant holes in them.

Rosie McGee's is available for functions from small birthday parties to large corporate events--catering for from 20 to 400 people. The bar also plays host to a number of live events including live bands, so check the website before visiting to see what's on--or just pop in.
