Title: Good food, but heavy indoor climate and understaffed. Unfortunately, they were short-staffed during our visit, which led to a longer waiting time than expected—though the waiters did everything they could and worked hard. It was very hot inside (perhaps an issue with the air conditioning system), and the seating felt a bit cramped, giving it a slight canteen-like atmosphere. As for the food, the main course, which was fish, felt a bit impersonal, though all the side dishes for the fish were good. The rest of the meal was good, without being spectacular or "over the top," with two exceptions: the soybeans were highly interesting and the dessert hit the spot perfectly.
The food was ok but not a fine dining if you look for such an experience. Some dishes were interesting, some very good, some just tasting normal. The interior is rather mediocre.
Special, 11 course tasting menu. We enjoyed our time at Odette a lot. Great tasting menu, really nice staff and a nice restaurant. As we were driving, we took the juice menú for our dinner, we have not tried that before, but it was really good. Odette is a place worth a visit.
Lovely Danish food in a cosy restaurant! We had 3 small plates, a couple entrees and 2 sides to share between the 2 of us. The food size was generous and we got full we couldn't do dessert afterwards. Staff was super friendly! We learnt something about having a flag at the table which means it's a birthday! We didn't know what that means when we book a table and asked if we want a flag 😂🚩🇩🇰
We had an excellent lunch at Odette. This is some of the best open sandwich on rye bread I have had in Copenhagen. And there is a lot of places to choose from. The bread itself was absolutely delicious and it is obvious how much love and effort goes into every serving. Every traditional dish has a unique spin on it which respects the traditional flavors but adds new layers on top. I also tried one of the homemade snaps. So good. I highly recommend this place.
