The Nimb is a large white building complex housing a hotel, banquet area and a couple of restaurants and bars next to the Tivoli Gardens in the centre of Copenhagen.
One of the restaurants in the building is Restaurant Nimb a brasserie and food hall cooking excellent Danish food with a French accent, and serving generous portions to affordable prices.
The concept is an open kitchen, which has been moved and placed in the middle of the huge room, where the guests can watch the chefs at work, preparing the food from fresh Danish products. This can be very entertaining for the whole family.
Restaurant Nimb serves lunch from 11.30 am-2 pm – try Nimb’s tasting plate for 189 DKK from the a la carte menu, with herring, dill-marinated salmon, fish cake, Italian ham, chicken salad and cheese. Delicious!
For the evening meal, you’ll find Pickled supreme of cockerel, Grilled rib eye or Danish Oysters on the a la carte menu and dinner starts at 5.30 pm.
Caviar lovers could treat themselves and order the “Baerii Rossini Caviar” with potatoes, blinis and crème fraiche to the special price of 500 DKK.
If you get a chance, visit the restaurant on a Sunday and enjoy the tasty brunch buffet, which is served each Sunday during the whole summer 10.30 am-2 pm for 195 DKK.
Restaurant Nimb has something for everyone and it is a great place for a food stop when visiting the Tivoli Gardens.
