Restaurant Ensemble
Copenhagen
Ensemble is an intimate restaurant in the centre of Copenhagen, where the beautiful simplicity of Danish design surrounds the award-winning food.
Minimalist, modern, and aesthetically pleasing French cuisine is served. The chefs keep up the French tradition of the freshest locally sourced ingredients, including wild game, vegetables and shellfish. The food may be simple, but you'll still find typical haute cuisine dishes such as foie gras.
There is one set menu complimented by an exclusive wine list of some of the finest wines from France and the rest of Europe.
Ensemble is a non-smoking restaurant located on a quiet residential street. It is near the Royal Danish Theatre, an imposing and attractive eighteenth century building that is perfect for a stroll around before or after dinner. Cellular phones may not be used in the restaurant to ensure the tranquility of the dining experience. The restaurant is closed Sundays, Mondays, and some holidays; be sure to make a reservation in advance to ensure your place.
Typical dishes include coquelete (a young chicken) with foie gras; and eel with apple, quail eggs and brioche.
