Situated in a unique ground floor warehouse space in Christianshavn alongside the harbor of Copenhagen. Noma was selected the best in the world in Restaurant Magazine Top 50 in 2010.
Noma offers a new idea of Nordic cooking. They have traveled around the Nordic countries and sourced the best phenomenal ingredients that are flown in to make sure everything is as fresh as it can be. This includes langoustine lobster from the Faeroe Islands, halibut, wild salmon, cod and seaweed from Iceland as well as lamb and drinking water from Greenland – to name a few.
This unique produce and the traditional Nordic cooking methods come together to introduce you to the distinctive tastiness and special character the region has to offer.
Noma´s kitchen is piloted by Denmark’s finest culinary artist, Mr. René Redzepi. Mr. Redzepi has previously worked for extended stints at some of the world's most highly esteemed 3-star Michelin restaurants (French Laundry, El Bulli and Jardin des Sens).Mr. Redzepi has also been appointed ambassador for the new Nordic food program by the Nordic council of ministers.
Noma not only has some of the best food in town but also the best surroundings for you to enjoy. The renovated warehouse is decorated in a modern and simply way that let’s you enjoy the magnificent scenery without restrictions.
Noma is open for lunch Tuesday – Saturday and for dinner Monday – Saturday. Reservations are required.
