We were staying at the Locke and smelt some lovely aromas coming in and out of the hotel so we made a deal to have our last dinner in Copenhagen at LUQA. It didn’t disappoint. Simple meals but done well. Staff were super friendly and the whole ambience was just chilled and laidback. Good experience.
Beautiful food in a great atmosphere. We enjoyed the salmon and the pappardelle. Both were incredible. It’s inside the Locke hotel which was convenient after arriving from the airport. Don’t miss out on this authentic and delicious food! Bonus for the sorbet trio!
I had lunch at LUQA yesterday at 12, and it was honestly an insanely good experience. We started with arancini and burrata to share. The burrata came with bread and roasted red and yellow peppers, and that exact combination really hit the mark. The sweetness and slight smokiness from the peppers against the creamy burrata. Yes, please. After that, I had the beef pappardelle, and it was definitely a highlight. The meat was incredibly tender and delicious, and the little tomatoes in the dish added just the right acidity, so it did not become heavy and rich, but actually felt balanced. And then the tiramisu. It was so freshly made that it had not quite set yet, but that almost made it even better. The aromatic coffee came through in every single bite, and it was exactly the kind of dessert you do not want to share. The whole experience felt exclusive, but still relaxed. Delicious, well-executed, and absolutely phenomenal. I genuinely have nothing to criticize. LUQA gets my warmest recommendation. 1000% a place for anyone who loves food.
We had the salmon and it was perfect! It was very juicy and had a great crust. We also had Noodles and they were equally delicious—the pasta was perfectly cooked and right on point. The location is beautiful, and the price was absolutely reasonable.
We had dinner here while staying at the Locke Hotel. The food was delicious, the staff were very friendly, and the interior was beautifully designed. Overall, the restaurant had a great atmosphere.
