Indian Taj Restaurant is the first Indian restaurant in Scandinavia. The Ahluwalia family founded the Indian Taj Restaurant in 1973. The Ahluwalia family visited Denmark in 1971 and wanted an Indian food but couldn’t find any Indian restaurants. In 1972 decides the Ahluwalia family to move from England to Denmark to open up the first Indian restaurant in Scandinavia.
