This was quite an experience from the food to the tour of the restaurant. It starts out with your menu in a letter explaining the courses along with the drink set options. I got it with one of the wine pairing. The service and every dish were meticulously thought out. Each of the wine had distinct traits and taste. I was skeptical at first since they don't cook red meat here and I love eating red meat with usually every meal. But I was blown away here by the wide ranges of flavors brought out by all the local plants and seafood. Before the dessert came out, they brought us on a small tour of the wine storage and kitchen which was a lot of fun and informative. Highly recommend visiting if you can get a reservation.
Without a doubt, this was the world’s No. 1 restaurant in 2023. Every dish was incredibly well balanced, creative, and beautifully presented. The restaurant itself has a wonderful atmosphere, and the guided tour after the meal was a fantastic touch that made the whole experience even more memorable. The only downside was that the portions were a bit small, so I didn’t leave feeling completely full. Other than that, it was an unforgettable dining experience and absolutely worth the visit.
We dined at Geranium yesterday and left thoroughly impressed. The food is exceptional, every course considered and precise, and the kitchen clearly works at the very top of its game. The service matched it: attentive without ever being intrusive, warm, and genuinely knowledgeable about what was on the plate and in the glass. The whole evening felt like a complete experience rather than just a meal. From the dining room high above Fælledparken to the rhythm of the courses, it all came together in a way that stays with you. If you are anywhere near Copenhagen, this is well worth the detour.
We simply love our experience in Geranium. Best dining experience we have ever had! We travel often and get to experience great food and service in many Michelin restaurants in multiply countries, but this was the best we have experienced. The service was impeccable. The tasting menu was The Spring Universe, it was not only delicious, but also absolutely and delicately beautiful. Each dish was a true work of art, with refined and surprising flavors. We were able to see the kitchen and meet the chefs, see the incredibly wine collections. it was amazing. An unforgettable gastronomic experience! Truly an experience we will hold close to our hearts! We are very thankful and appreciative for this experience.
After trying for 5 years, I finally managed to get a reservation at Geranium… and honestly, I still have no words for what I just experienced. This was by far the best meal I have ever had in my life. Absolutely out of this world. It's too bad that I can only give 5 stars here, as it deserves at least 6 out of 5 stars. Every single dish was pure perfection. The flavours, presentation, atmosphere and service were all on another level. What made it even more special was that chef Rasmus Kofoed (best chef in the world) himself came to the table and served one of the dishes. This was not just dinner. It was an experience I will never ever forget!
