The two young owners of Formel B, Kristian Meller and Rune Jochumsen, took over the restaurant in 2003 and proudly received their first Michelin star only a year after. Since then, the successful team has expanded with another great place – Restaurant Sletten.
The elegant restaurant Formel B serves high class French gourmet cuisine with a modern Danish twist – where else could you order Smoked warm eel with rose hip vinegar, salted Spanish almonds, carrots and crisp brioche. Each dish is cooked with carefully selected ingredients and excellent fresh Danish products – they even have a local delivering handpicked mushrooms and a farm in Lammefjorden providing the vegetables. Formel B changes its menu every second week and instead of a la carte, there are two fixed menus of 4 and 6 courses.
The ambience is modern and stylish, with lots of light and an interior of brown, grey and creamy sand colors.
A table reservation is necessary and it would be wise to bring the thickest wallet – extraordinary dining has its price, but it´s well worth it. Main courses are at 900 Dkk each.
Formel B has a very exclusive private dining room for special occasions, with seats for 35 guests.
All major credit cards are accepted and there is free parking after 8 pm.
