Brasserie Bisous

Brasserie Bisous, in Charlottenlund, is a brasserie that caters for everyone from families to couples to businesspeople. Housed in the beautiful and historic Skovriderkroen on Strandvejen, Bisous Brasserie can accommodate up to 170 guests. The structure was built in 1937, and has stunning high ceilings as well as two large outdoor balconies with delightful forest views that you can enjoy in the summer.

Bisous really does cater for all types. Children are most welcome here, and especially for brunch at the weekends: up to two children under 12 can have a free brunch when accompanied by paying adults.

The menu at Brasserie Bisous has its roots in classic French and Danish cuisine. It is good, honest food prepared with love and using only the best ingredients. Bisous has a wide variety of dishes on offer from the a la carte menu, which varies with the seasons--and the chef's inspiration.

The crackling crisp salads and the fragrant, freshly baked bread are ideal companions for the tender meat or fresh fish and mussels. If you fancy a smørrebrød (Danish sandwich) or just a snack, Bisous has both on offer, too. Finish off with some fine cheese or a sweet and tangy dessert.

Brunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 to 14:00 and is a very generous buffet with all kinds of food available, from bacon to fruit to yoghurt and toast.

Lunch is on every day from 12:00 to 16:00, and from 13:00 at the weekends. The average price for a dish is around DKK 90, and you can choose from all the classic French and Danish dishes. Sandwiches, light meals, and lots of fish. Dinner is served from 17:30 to 22:00 all through the week. The menu changes often, and uses high grade meat and fresh fish as the backbone to its French-inspired creations. The average price is around DKK 200.

At the weekends, Brasserie Bisous puts away the pots and pans and turns into a nightclub. From around 11, the lights go down and the music turns up and the place turns into one big party with excellent cocktails and a good selection of music.
