Unparalleled experience! What a fantastic meal, executed perfectly by the intimate staff. Attentive, warm and welcoming—the perfect combination of service. Our dreams really did come true with this meal. Highlights included the mortadella, ravioli with ricotta and spinach pasta and balsamic bites.
We were incredibly lucky to secure a fairly last minute reservation at this popular Italian restaurant! It is so lovely and cosy inside, seating only a few inside. The food was absolutely delicious! Such thought and care clearly goes into the preparation and service too. Stefano, the owner, even made an effort to call me beforehand to see what my 5yr old daughter would like to eat! That is first class service, in my view. I do think it is a more adult type restaurant given how intimate and classy it is, but if you have a quiet, well behaved child then I see no issue bringing them. If in Copenhagen, do try to secure a place! Thanks to Julia too for wonderful service. Hope to be back!
The 3 pasta dishes were the stars of the tasting menu - they were really excellent. We shared one portion of the beef tenderloin - it was ok, but not on the same level as the pasta dishes. They have a good selection of wines and they are reasonably priced. We had a Ronchi Chardonnay Langhe and a Chianti classico DOCG - both very good. Place is small and below street level, but with a good relaxed ambiance with an open kitchen. I highly recommend their pasta dishes.
Stop what you are doing and make a reservation at Boutique Emilia. I’ve been on the waitlist for months and I couldn’t be happier with our experience! Incredible food! Every dish was beautifully presented, with wonderful flavours and freshly made pastas. The star of the evening was certainly the tortellini. And of course ending off with a perfect tiramisu. We loved every dish they brought us and loved that it was a set menu. All you need to do is arrive, relax and enjoy! What a wonderful staff as well. So friendly, with fantastic recommendations for wine. They also explained the concept of the restaurant so nicely and explained each dish and why it’s special to certain regions of Italy. A highlight for us in Copenhagen, couldn’t recommend it more.
