Smagsløget Sandwiches is a great little local spot for a quick and delicious meal near Tivoli. The sandwiches are generously portioned and offer excellent value for the price. I ordered one sandwich, which came cut into two halves—more than enough for a satisfying lunch. The ingredients tasted fresh, the flavors were well-balanced, and the service was fast. If you're looking for a tasty, reasonably priced bite while exploring the area, this is definitely a place worth visiting.
A great place to grab a hearty sandwich. I had the first vegetarian option with Pesto and it was loaded with veggies and cheese. The sandwich was very flavourful and well made. The sandwiches are very large The place has limited seating. Wish they would clean the counters more often
The best value to taste ratio of any food I ate in Copenhagen. I had the No. 1. and the “recommended” option did not disappoint! Limited seating inside but the service was fast so this is a great pop in for take out meal.
Honestly one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had 🥪 I couldn’t believe how good it was. The sandwiches are absolutely huge — I even ordered two and could barely finish one 😄 I had the “En Smag af Italien” with bresaola, parmesan, and red pesto, and everything worked perfectly together. The parmesan was incredibly tasty and rich in flavour, and the bresaola was also excellent quality. One of the best flavour combinations I’ve had in a sandwich. My husband had the “Original Smagsløget Anbefaler,” and he loved his as well. It’s a small shop, but they are truly masters of sandwiches. Prices may feel high for tourists, but that’s not surprising in such an expensive city — and at least the portions are much bigger than expected. Only downside is that they don’t have a toilet. Other than that: quick preparation, friendly service, and fantastic food. Definitely recommended 👍
I had planned to eat at a different place for lunch but was short on time, I’m so glad I stopped in! I had the Smagsløget Anbefaler (#1 on the Originals menu) and it was phenomenal. I don’t know what kind of bread it was on but it was so flavorful. The sandwich was huge! Plenty for two people to share. I also tried the potato salad and Danish meatball, both were very nice. The service was excellent and my meal was ready very quickly. There are a few barstools with a countertop and one regular height table, so some seating is available.
