A well-executed tasting menu with prompt and professional service. I would have loved a little more storytelling and detail about each dish, but overall, it was a very enjoyable dining experience.
Restaurant Cofoco offers a stylish modern European dining experience in the heart of Vesterbro. The Food I ordered the 6 course menu, which provided a really nice variety of dishes so we got to try a little bit of everything. The bread served at the beginning was delicious. The meal leaned very green, which is not usually my personal favorite, but it still tasted good. The cocktails, on the other hand, were just average. The Venue Located in Vesterbro, Restaurant Cofoco is the original spot where the entire Copenhagen Food Collective began back in 2004. It is known for offering incredible value by mixing Nordic ingredients with Southern European inspiration. The basement setting is welcoming, has amazing vibes, and is suitable for any kind of group. They have special private rooms for larger gatherings which provide a great atmosphere. However, it is very important to note that it was extremely hot inside the restaurant during our visit. Summary An overall 4 out of 5. The food offers great variety and the private group spaces are fantastic, but the average cocktails and the extreme heat inside hold it back from a perfect score. It is still a good choice for a nice meal with friends.
Came here on a Thursday evening by myself and it was an all-around excellent experience, from the atmosphere to the 5-course menu to the attentive service! Especially loved the warm bread, mussels soup, and the chicken main course. 😋 thank you to the team there for the great dining experience!
One of the best restaurants we’ve been!! We took the 6 course meal, one was vegetarian. The vegetarian was amazing, and did not felt left behind which happens a lot in other places. Price was super reasonable for this kind of meal. Service was kind and welcomed.
We went to Cofoco yesterday and the food was excellent overall. The highlights were definitely the brisket with kale and Jerusalem artichokes, which was excellent and the bread and butter deserves a special mention. The atmosphere was cosy and very relaxed. I personally wasn’t a big fan of the mussel bisque with smoked cod, but the others at my table enjoyed it, so it's just a matter of personal taste. It was a really good experience overall, and I’d happily come back!
