I went to Restaurant 1733 twice during the same trip, that’s how good it was. Tried the Danish meatballs one visit and the steak on a board with mashed potatoes baked on top the next, and both were excellent. Portions are generous, prices are fair for the quality, and the staff were genuinely nice both times. It’s popular, so book a reservation ahead. Highly recommend if you’re in Copenhagen!
Even before trying the food, the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Then..came the food. I tried the Old-Fashioned Roast of Beef . Amazing! The portion was big, so "double amazing". No wonder they have good reviews. I had called earlier and Victor, on the phone made sure to reserve a table for me outside, overlooking the canal.Keep up the great work guys.
It’s worth the great rating they have. The location is convenient, the prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious. The staff is also very friendly. Even though they were busy, we didn’t have to wait long for our food. The portions were perfect for lunch. As a bonus, we are traveling with our dog and were able to sit outside. They didn’t have to, but they were very thoughtful and even brought water for her.
Lovely spot in great location. Traditional Danish food was delicious here! Staff is so friendly and also helped explain the dishes to me as I had never been to Copenhagen. The restaurant setting is also quite nice for couples or groups.
We had a wonderful meal here. It’s super centrally located with reasonable prices for being right on the canal. The waiters were all really friendly and helped us choose what to eat. The 4-type herring platter was amazing, and the portions were massive!
