Poonchai is a fantastic place for a truly authentic Thai dinner in Copenhagen. The food is genuinely Thai, with flavors, taste, and aroma exactly like what you would experience in Thailand, not adjusted to Western preferences. Every dish feels real and comforting. The service is outstanding. The staff are very polite, attentive, and professional, providing a high level of hospitality that makes the whole dining experience even better. I highly recommend Poonchai to anyone who wants to taste real Thai food in Copenhagen. Definitely worth a visit.
Everything was quick and efficient. I ordered the spring rolls and the Massaman Curry with prawns. The curry was so watery. No thickness at all. So instead of spooning the curry over rice, I took the spoon to dunk the rice into the curry broth. It was flavorful.... So I won't speak badly of it, but it was missing that "mouth feel".
