We visited as a group of five and enjoyed the Metamorphosis menu. It is especially suited to caviar lovers, as course after course featured different preparations of caviar. While I enjoy caviar myself, it eventually felt like a bit too much. In hindsight, I probably should have chosen a smaller menu, as I found the overall experience somewhat overwhelming and struggled to single out individual dishes. The service was top notch - attentive, professional, and always respectful of our space. Most of the dishes were beautifully balanced and executed with great precision. I was especially impressed by the very unique deserts. That said, a few courses didn’t quite meet my high expectations. In particular, I couldn’t finish the king crab dish because I found its texture and appearance unappealing. It reminded me of clearing a badly congested nose, which unfortunately made it difficult to enjoy. I also wasn’t particularly fond of the first two starter courses: the shiso leaf dish and the caviar snack. That said, I believe these reactions came down to personal preference, as the rest of my party thoroughly enjoyed the entire menu. Overall, it was a memorable dining experience with exceptional service and many outstanding dishes.
Probably one of the best dining experiences in CPH. Dining menu was a mix of new Nordic and Japanese influences with amazing variety, and interesting flavor combinations. Personnel was exceptional from start to finish. Atmosphere is very relaxed and ideal for a date but also bigger groups. This place will always be on my list if I want an outstanding dining experience. It comes at a cost, but I think it is well worth it and can for sure compete with other pricey restaurants
Stunning presentation and delicate flavours. My favourites were the first dish with chawanmushi, the lovage butter, the ragout and the petit fours. Memorable meal for special occasions.
Overall, a decent dining experience with a mix of highlights and a few misses. The raw halibut with tomato juice was a standout- fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced. However, the desserts were less impressive; the fennel-based one in particular felt a bit too experimental for my taste. The atmosphere was a little stiff, reminiscent of sitting in a wedding banquet hall- formal, but lacking warmth. That said, the service was attentive and professional.
