I was very surprised by the level of this hotel. I talked to reception and the main office and was ignored by both. CONS -Exposed cables and the card reader missing. The exposed cables were fixed after our second night - Dust in most surfaces - Bathroom not cleaned. - Toilet paper was not replaced even when the back up was already in use and we ran out (we heard other guests complaining of the same problem) - Face cleaning pads were not replaced ever. - Sheets were not changed in a 5 nights stay - Disgusting sewer smell coming from the toilet. - Got 4 breakfast vouchers instead of 10. - Got woken up at 8:30 by room cleaning entering our room. Reception said this was normal. - And today with the do not disturb sign they violently knocked for us to go out at 14:30 although we paid for late check out at 15.
I stayed at ProfilHotels Copenhagen Plaza on two occasions. It's a beautiful historic hotel conveniently situated in the centre of the city, a one-minute walk from the central station and metro station. I chose this hotel for its classic European charm, the vintage design of the public areas and of the rooms, the historic elevator and the Library Bar. Don't forget to book a table in the Library Bar before your stay, as it tends to book out. The bar looks amazing and the cocktails are great. The breakfast buffet was very varied and delicious, I especially loved the fresh bread and the marinated herring. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I liked the fact that the hotel provides guests with ear plugs, to block the noise inevitable in a central location in a capital city (police, ambulance sirens etc). I slept very well through the night. The hotel also has a small gym, where you can work off the cocktails. :)
The location is great but you are next to the train station and you will hear the trains at 6:00am. The Fourth floor of the hotels being renovated Which started from 9:00 a.m. and finished at 4:00 p.m. I already left after 9am and came back one at around 3pm and still geared drilling but it did stop after 4pm. The Staff were amazing Very helpful Always happy to help. Breakfast was also amazing everything was fresh and delicious. The gym was ok I mean you can get a some what decent workout but there were no cardio machine.
Genuinely the best hotel you can book in Copenhagen. Affordable, quiet, clean, and filled with so much charm. The location is perfect as well. Would travel 30+ hours again just to stay another night in ProfilHotels 🤩
Unbeatable location and cute interior. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly — they allowed us to check in early even though we arrived at 8am. Great spread at breakfast too. The room however was not as comfortable as we’d hoped. Bed was too soft and the water pressure in the shower was too weak to take a proper shower. Heated toilet floor was a plus. Good enough for a short stay.
