A modest but tactical hotel near the center of Copenhagen. The place is situated fairly 400 m from the Kobenhavn Central Station, from which one can take whichever train, bus or metro wants. Very useful! The price is fair considering the position and the quality of the rooms. They adopt the Danish policy of asking their guests to have the room cleaned only when really needed to prevent waste of water and help the environment, which is very commendable. The structure is tiny overall, bit comfortable nonetheless. The staff is quiet and laconic, but always present 24/7.

A great budget hotel very close to the station. Perfect for the solo traveller. Lovely breakfast room and courtyard. My room was clean and comfortable, and the shared bathrooms were ample. Everyone very friendly. Will definitely use this hotel again.

I didn’t think it was TOO bad. The washrooms were shared which wasn’t a big deal, but a big concern was the shower had no shampoo. A hotel right across the street from it I stayed in 2 weeks ago had shampoo, so I don’t think this would’ve been much to ask. Their body soap was just foamy hand soap in a soap dispenser, fixed in the shower. I get AC is not a big thing in Europe but I didn’t get a fan either - the first one I got was broken, the second one rattled super loud, to the point it would rattle itself off the table. The room itself wasn’t too shabby. On the 5th floor, it was really hot, but thankfully you can open both windows. But it was still pretty hot. I “woke” up sweating and I didn’t really sleep tbh. The reception was much cooler, outside was much cooler, but there was no breeze so it’s best to sleep outside, with a blanket. The people in reception had an attitude, but it’s not to say weren’t helpful. They are willing to help, hence my fan, I thought they thought we were a nuisance asking questions they know answers to. This one guy started acting defensively when we found out we did something incorrectly and this other person gave out something what I interpreted was a sarcastic comment. I think the best thing about this hotel is the location, it’s right in front of Central Station (1 minute walk), so it’s perfect for people who just want to travel Copenhagen, not chill.

Great location, just two minutes from the train station, and the WiFi worked well. The woman at the front desk was also very friendly. Unfortunately, the stay was affected by several issues. The bed felt very small, the shower was tiny, and the wall lamp was awkwardly placed (easy to hit your head). The biggest problem was the noise. There was heavy roadwork outside starting at 7:30 a.m., and metal plates in the road made loud banging noises every time someone passed over them. It was very disruptive. I tried calling reception from the room phone with no answer, so I used my mobile. When I asked to change rooms, I was told: “It’s a big city, what did you expect?” I found that response unprofessional and dismissive. I’ve lived in London, so I understand city noise—but this was excessive. I wouldn’t stay here again.
