Disappointing experience. The Pilates Flow class felt more like a gym class in high-school than a proper pilates session. The instructor wasn’t engaged and has been doing the exercises himself whole class instead of guiding or correcting participants, which is a red flag in pilates. The studio has potential and I hope management pays more attention to instructor quality rather than quantity of their clients.
Very cozy studio, with great customer service and professional inspiring teachers ❤️
I love this place. I come here frequently, love the classes, really enjoy the variety, and appreciate the quality of classes. However, the teacher Malene Sophira conducts some of the worst, most painful, most unhelpful and uninspiring workout classes I've ever participated in. I find her classes so insanely unstructured, painful (and I am not a beginner), and unmotivating and uninspiring. They leave me worse than they found me. She consistently does movements that hurt me and don't make me feel like I am using my body in a productive war. Additionally, I find her condescending, rude, unhelpful, and almost left me angry enough that I had to leave halfway through just to not get too frustrated. I know this might seem harsh, but trust me, this instructor has almost made me cancel my membership and not come back.
