“The Zoological Museum” belongs to the Natural History Museum of Denmark and the University of Copenhagen and it is a paradise for naturalists of all ages!
Spend an afternoon in this interesting museum which educates and entertains you; see different animals from all around the world in authentic settings and learn about prehistoric animals like the giant elk and the mammoth. In one part of “The Zoological Museum”, you even have the possibility to not only see, but also to touch some wild animals.
The museum keeps a collection of approx. 10 million specimens; of insects and other arthropods, fishes, marine invertebrates and birds; and their collection of multicellular animals is being used for international research.
For research or personal interest, “The Zoological Museum” houses a huge reference library for the University, founded in 1770.

Tuesday-Sunday 10 am–5 pm
