Description

Go deeper than the typical food tour and understand Copenhagen through what locals actually eat. Five stops that carry you from Nyhavn's postcard harbor to Christianshavn's canal streets, tracing Danish cuisine from its rye-bread roots to its most talked-about corners. Start with a chef's modern take on smørrebrød served inside the Royal Danish Playhouse. Next is a taco stand at Broens Street Food, built on Noma-trained technique and featured in Netflix's Somebody Feed Phil, right next door to Noma itself. Along the way, discover how humble ingredients like grains and sausages became icons of everyday Danish life, before ending with one of Scandinavia’s most loved pastries. This isn’t just tasting, it’s context, culture, and craftsmanship in every bite. A small group, capped at 12 guests, with plenty of room to ask your guide questions, move at a relaxed pace, hear the stories behind each dish, and see how food reflects Copenhagen’s design, history, and way of life.
