Experience a Friday evening Nordic sauna ritual in Copenhagen with Sauna Svala. “Release the Week” is a 90-minute holistic sauna experience designed to help you slow down, reconnect with your body, and transition into the weekend. The experience includes four guided sauna rounds combining heat, essential oils, carefully selected music, breathing, and mindful guidance. Between the sauna rounds, cool down outdoors and experience the contrast between heat and cold. Each round has its own atmosphere and intention, gradually taking you from the pace of the week into a calmer, more grounded state. The experience is hosted by Svala Heiðberg, founder of Sauna Svala, holistic sauna master, and Yoga Nidra teacher. No previous sauna experience is required. The atmosphere is welcoming, intimate, and suitable for both Copenhagen visitors and locals looking for an authentic Nordic wellness experience.

Important Information

• No previous sauna experience is required Bring swimwear, a towel and a water bottle (vi have water). The experience includes four sauna rounds, with cold plunges in between the rounds, each round is about 10-12 minutes. Listen to you body through the experience, you are always welcome to leave the sauna in a round, if you do you wait outside til the next round. Please notice, there are no changing facilities or restrooms on the site. Please arrive wearing your swimsuit under your clothes, or you are free to change under a bathrope or your towel.
