Experience Danish history on a guided tour featuring Kronborg Castle, also known as Hamlet’s Castle, with insights into its role from the Kalmar Union through the Denmark-Norway dual monarchy period.
After visiting Kronborg, enjoy a drive through North Zealand’s landscape of forests and villages before arriving in Hillerød. Here, you’ll have approximately three hours to visit Frederiksborg Palace at your own pace and have lunch if you wish.
The tour includes pickup from Hillerød at 3:00 PM (CET), returning to the Copenhagen Cruise Terminal by 5:00 PM. The guide and driver speak English only.

- Pickup is from Copenhagen Cruise Terminal and Langelinie cruise ship pier, with both pickup and drop-off included.
- Booking confirmation is only final upon receiving an email confirmation from Ophelia Tours, even if payment is made online.
- Free seat reservations are required for the outbound bus; no reservation needed for return from Hillerød.
- Central pickup point is in front of Hotel Astoria at 9:00 AM, but your exact pickup time will be emailed after booking confirmation.
- Prepare for walking; cobblestones may be slippery when wet.
