Description
Embark on a 14 km hiking adventure crossing varied terrain, including hilly grassland, fields, forests, and roads. The route passes the Vejrhøj Arch, a natural formation created during the Ice Age about 15,000 years ago, and reaches Zealand’s third highest point at 121 meters above sea level.
Along the way, admire traditional houses with thatched roofs before stopping at Dragsholm Castle, one of Denmark’s oldest castles dating back to around 1215. Here, enjoy a Danish lunch in a setting that also houses a Michelin-starred restaurant.
At the end of the hike, visit a local winery overlooking the hills and ocean. Meet the winemakers who cultivate certified organic wines, learn about their methods, and taste their wines before returning to Copenhagen.
