With a history of over 100 years, the first workshop was opened in Copenhagen by the founder Georg Jensen. In the beginning, he displayed small works in a wooden cupboard outside his workshop. The brand is now recognized for its extremely high levels of design, craftsmanship and quality. Although the founder passed away in the thirties, the team of designers and creators now continues the tradition. Such famous designers as Arne Jacobsen, Vivianna Torun Bülow-Hübe, the Swedish Prince Sigvard Bernadotte, and the son of Georg Jensen, Soren Georg Jensen have all contributed to the ongoing success of this home-grown Copenhagen luxury brand.
