Bruuns Bazaar is one of the most popular fashion brands in Denmark, and in all of Scandinavia. Founded in 1994 by brothers Teis and Bjorn Bruun, Bruuns Bazaar, even in those early days, was considered a pioneer on the Scandinavian fashion scene.
They were one of the first to present the distinctive Scandinavian look, combined with international sensibilities, to the world. Bruuns Bazaar's elegant and sophisticated design snagged the brand a place on the prestigious Paris fashion show calendar in 1999--a first for any Danish fashion brand.
Today Bruuns Bazaar is an internationally renowned and innovative design company, creating menswear, womenswear and accessories. The talented team of designers also offers eyewear and shoes. Bruuns Bazaar mixes classical styles and modern inspiration, vibrant and charismatic, calling itself 'relaxed elegance.'
A testament to Bruuns Bazaar's popularity, it has spawned BZR, a younger and now independent label.
Although sold in over 1000 shops in 30 countries, its headquarters remains in Copenhagen where you can visit. Separated into men's and women's across the street, customers are recommended to buy items they like quickly as most are available in limited quantities.
