I only stayed for two nights, but it was really good! The beds are softer than most hotels I’ve stayed in. Nice bathroom with bright orange tiles which were fun. Cafeteria had the most vegetarian/ vegan options I’ve seen ever! They had dairy-free milk alternatives, Vegan pepperoni (Quorn) and the loveliest chickpea curry! Would definitely come back here if I came back to Copenhagen!
Overall, we were satisfied with our stay at Hotel Richmond. The rooms are perfectly fine and have everything you need for a city trip. The beds were a bit too soft for my personal taste, but that's obviously subjective. The breakfast was good with a decent selection, and we always found something we enjoyed. Even though the hotel is located on a busy street, the traffic noise was surprisingly manageable and didn't disturb our sleep. One downside is that the rooms don't have air conditioning. During warmer days, they can get quite hot. Fortunately, a fan is provided, which helps a bit. Unfortunately, what really affected our stay was the recurring sewage smell coming from the bathroom. Without that issue, we would have been very happy with the hotel. If the odor problem gets fixed, I would happily stay here again.
For a hotel of its own level very good. Responsive employees. Convenient location tidy surroundings, located in the center and a lot where you can get on foot. Nearby there is a beautiful park and water bodies where to go for a walk. Convenient traffic option. The breakfast offer varied and tasty.
