Riz Raz has become famous for its cheap, affordable prices, excellent meat and the large vegetable buffet with different south European specialties and its cold and warm dishes. There are two Riz Raz restaurants in Copenhagen, with two different main course concepts: “Sticks’N’Veggies” on Kompagnistræde serving fish and meat sticks, and “Steaks’N’Veggies” on St. Kannikestræde serving steaks.
Riz Raz “Sticks’N’Veggies” is a popular restaurant with something for everyone; the well-filled and very fresh vegetable buffet is a real treat, not only for vegetarians – and you shouldn’t go here without trying the grilled sticks which “Sticks’N’Veggies” is famous for. The fresh meat sticks are tasty lamb, chicken, turkey, beef and fish skewers which have been marinated in fresh herbs and spices like cumin, coriander, chili, thyme, rosemary and garlic for 24 hours, before the slow grilling over charcoal.
The restaurant offers a children’s menu with meatballs, pasta and pancakes and all Riz Raz “Sticks’N’Veggies” dishes are for take-away. A great idea in the summer is the picnic meal ready to pick up, with plastic plates and cutlery for 165 DKK p.p. Please note that it needs to be ordered in advance.
Breakfast is being served from 9.30 am and a delicious, full breakfast with dishes like Spanish tortilla, marinated salmon, parsley yoghurt and homemade strawberry marmalade costs 120 DKK.
There is a special treat for parents: Included in the price is free babysitting in the children’s room while you are enjoying your food.
