I really liked this hotel. Yes it is expensive but so are all the good hotels in Copenhagen. I really liked the staff, they are super friendly and patient. I think this is also a Danish thing but super nice. The hotel is very cozy and well designed. What I most liked was the bed, as it felt like a cloud. The bathroom is beautiful and the soap was really nice. I liked that there was a minibar and an ironing board and iron in the room. You can rent bikes and they have a discount on parking. The only downside was that the window to the courtyard could not be opened. Very central location with lots of activities and good restaurants and shops in the neighborhood.
This was such an awesome hotel. The staff were so friendly the breakfast is amazing and the location is so good. We were very close to the swimming piers so enjoyed that and there is a little store on the corner just down from the hotel towards the water you can get snacks, beers wine etc. Highly highly recommend this hotel. We had a large double room and the bed was very large and the room a great size. Will come back!!!
We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Skt. Annæ. It’s a charming boutique hotel with a wonderful ambiance, and the staff was consistently courteous, friendly, and welcoming throughout our visit. Our family of four stayed in the Junior Suite (Room 523). It worked well for us because our two children are petite, but families should know that the room is fairly compact. Once the sofa bed is opened, it takes up most of the living area, leaving very little space to move around. The room has one smaller bathroom, though the additional sink in the living area was a thoughtful and convenient feature. One of the hotel’s biggest strengths is its location. It is perfectly situated for exploring Copenhagen, with many attractions, restaurants, and the waterfront within easy walking distance. The only significant downside to our stay was the room’s location within the hotel property. Room 523 is directly beneath the rooftop bar, and the noise from guests above was quite loud well into the evening, making it difficult for our family to get to sleep at a reasonable hour. In addition, the rooftop area also serves as a café in the morning, so the early setup and activity made it difficult to catch up on sleep after a disrupted night. For families traveling with young children, I would recommend requesting a room away from the rooftop bar. I also hope the hotel considers not assigning families with children to Room 523 or other rooms directly below the rooftop venue, as the late-night activity isn’t well suited for younger guests. Overall, we enjoyed the hotel’s atmosphere, excellent service, and unbeatable location. With a quieter room, our stay would have been exceptional.
The hotel is nice. The breakfast is not worth paying for, as it is very basic compared to the price charged. The gentleman who assisted us at the front desk on June 7, around 3–4 PM, was rude and seemed to know nothing about hospitality or customer service. He could have told us there was another elevator that did not require using any stairs, but instead chose to watch us struggle with our luggage and a baby stroller. On the other hand, the gentleman working the morning shift on June 8 was very kind and professional. He deserves the best position in the hotel.
Excellent location, very close to all major sites. Beautiful boutique hotel, where the staff were great and very helpful. Celebrated my husband’s birthday and the hotel added a lovely touch with surprise Prosecco on arrival. We hired bikes and it’s the best way to explore. The bar is lovely too, great choice of drinks and games by the fire after a day of exploring the city. Definitely recommend!
