Tender

Tender is situated right in the heart of Copenhagen and is one of the city's most luxurious, opulent locations. It's full of dark wood and smooth white leather, with stunning views down Copenhagen's oldest street down towards the harbor as well as of the Parliament Buildings.

The classy interior is an indulgent place to sip cocktails and watch the world go by and take in the glorious surroundings. The dark wood floor is set off by glowing white lamps, and a long counter bar in crocodile ceramic tiles, reaching to the lounge where deep leather sofas and dark timber await.

Part of the Bar7 group, Tender Copenhagen burst onto the scene in 2007 and has since established its reputation as one of the coolest bars in Copenhagen, if not Denmark, if not Europe.

The food and drink are top quality, as is the service.There are a number of delicious sandwiches, like the deep fried Camembert with blackberry and celery, and the smoked duck breast with cream dressing, heart salad, parsley and semi dried tomatoes. You can order one sandwich for DKK 49, two for DKK 89, three for DKK 129, etc.

Gorgeous courses are on offer in the evenings such as the starter salted salmon with roe served with smoked cream cheese, pickled cucumber, quail eggs, water cress and crudités vegetables for DKK 82, and veal served with seared onion compote, pickled onion. Beetroot & thyme - garnished with béarnaise sauce and leek ash as a main for DKK 189.

Tender Copenhagen is a stunning place to drop in for a cocktail or an indulgent dinner. It's open late at the weekends, too, perfect for that last cocktail before going home.
