Hviids Vinstue is the oldest bar in Copenhagen; it has been around for almost 300 years! Many of our ancestors have been regulars at this bar. Hviids Vinstue is in central Copenhagen at Kongens Nytorv.
Hviids Vinstue offers 27 different Danish beers. Do not attempt to ask for a foreigner beer. The bartenders will tell you this is a Danish bar, not a foreign bar. The bar keeps up with the old look, dark wood everywhere. Mature bartenders serve in black pants, black vests and white shirts.
Even though Hviids Vinstue does not carry foreign beers, they do carry foreign wine. Hviids Vinstue has a closed off smoking area where you are served drinks.
