We enjoyed our stay at the Savoy Hotel the receptionist at the desk was very smiling and polite fun and happy to help us the downstairs cafe looks great and it's a wonderful place to accommodate the guests it's got a really nice feel to it the only issue that's surprised us was the lack of insulation between the walls and the rooms were rather small it doesn't make sense to us why if those issues have been noted in previous reviews and the hotel hasn't looked at Solutions that they could do to offer better insulation between the guest rooms. Overall we enjoyed the location very much it was a good area for us we rented bikes we enjoyed the stay at the hotel and even relaxing to watch some of the World Cup football on the screen in the cafe area. We had TVs in the rooms but the aerial to terrestrial TV was not connected so they were useless unless you are willing to stream content from your phone to the TV screen it seems silly because the wiring was there but nobody connected it up we called down to the desk and explained that but it didn't get fixed before our four-day steak was complete it does seem silly not to have a terrestrial TV working in a hotel bedroom. I think it's very silly that the hotel would not do anything to remedy the fact that the rooms are transmitting way too much sound between one Gaston and another they could do this with foam insulation or they could do it through some other means but they really did let the customers down with poor insulation it's no fun to be in a hotel room when you can hear the person talking in the next room.
Excellent value for money, easy walking distance to all attractions. Lovely old hotel, room clean with plenty of space, nice hot shower, cant fault.
Wonderful location right in Copenhagen not far from chick bars and restaurants. Super friendly service from the moment you walk into the lobby/bar... ;) it is obviously an older hotel with great architecture and for the price it is a good deal and everything is nice and clean. The rooms are small for US standards and bring your earplugs if you are a light sleeper because it is rather loud from the hallway.
Staff was great, the room was clean and cleaning was available every day. The location was good (metro station on walking 750-800 m distance). There are some nice restaurants on 10 minute walking distance. The breakfast was, at least to say, modest and so not worth paying (too limited both in quality and quantity). The room was unexpectedly small and there was no storage space at all (so stuff made room even smaller).
