Fantastic cocktails from a super friendly Swedish mixologist dressed a bit like an Aussie sheep station wrangler in summer but it's sub-zero Scandic winter with snow outside! Service came without the typical Danish reserve but with a warm welcome, chatty humour, a free shot, great glassware, and cool soundtracks. The entrance is down a few steps, dark, and initially has a hidden speakeasy vibe but once in feels like your local bar. The cocktails, though, are standout, both off-menu classics like a Manhattan or local twists on well known mixes. I tried these Naked & Famous mezcal, pink hernö, lime, apreol, yellow chartreuse - smoky and smooth Penicillin scotch, ginger, honey, lemon, laphroaig Local Passion Bulleit, coco, lemon syrup, passion, habanero - to die for (not from) spicy heat Resurrection Sevilla gin, Tanqueray 10, lemon, mandarin napoleon, dry vermouth, absinthe, grapefruit
Had a great time here. Very chill place outside of the tourist bars. Cocktails were on point. But most importantly, service was great! Jonas made the best cocktails and really made the place feel vibrant and friendly. Just what you want when you are looking for a good local cocktail bar without feeling that you are at a tourist trap. Want good cocktails? this is the place to go.
We had a lovely experience here! The bartender was friendly and gave us a free shot as we were the first customers of the day. The drinks are unique and tasty, and the vibe is cosy. It’s exactly what you want from a good cocktail bar!
I had mixed feelings about this bar. The signature cocktails were very sour but maybe I just don't get them. The atmosphere inside seemed pretty nice but it was too loud to talk. What bothered me more was the staff: about 5 min before closing, we were asked to leave our seats outside, which were removed, so we had to stand and rush to finish our drinks, by then, I didn't really feel like it.
