Great service, good staff, breakfast is acceptable. Coffee is good. The rooms are perfect. Great shower and comfy bed. Very clean. I would add a gym and a sauna, this way it would become an excellent hotel. Room could use an electric kettle and maybe a mini fridge.
This hotel was really nice. If you're looking for a comfortable clean place to stay that has easy access to the train station and close to the airport and is only maybe at most a 15-minute walk to most attractions and sites, this is the hotel to stay at. They also have bikes for rent.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay at this hotel which is perfect for it's location and ease of access for travellers arriving into the Danish capital. There weren't that many budget options available in Copenhagen when we wanted to travel, but staying at the Wakeup Copenhagen, Carsten Niebuhrs Gade was a great choice. The rooms are small and compact, but there's so much to see in the city that you'll barely spend any time in them as it is! Staff in the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful - we were able to use the self-service check-in and the express check-out upon arrival and departure, but when we needed anything else, the staff were always on hand to support. Rooms are usually cleaned on request, there's a sign in the lift which says to request this before 10pm the night before. We were able to hire bikes from the reception for 150Kr which made for a fantastic way to see the sights. Would highly recommend anyone on a budget to stay at this hotel!
It is a pretty fine hotel, with many rooms. The beds are so small, double ones are like for 1.5 person. There was no room service/cleaning, but in the rooms there are clean towels. The rooms are pretty small as well, but we preferred here to only sleeping. But the room was a bit cold, and the heating is too old. Other than being small and heating issue, the hotel met the expectations. It is around 12 mins walking distance from the train station. There is breakfast option depending on the booking.
