A 2-star due to the great location, otherwise a solid 1-star. I understand the sales pitch of being historic and eco-friendly but cannot understand lack of maintenance, from the filthy carpet to bed light and safe not working, even after a couple of requests for maintenance. Staff couldn’t care less. The bath room has a single hanger for towel and clothes, shower head has the size of more than half of the room so you will have to leave everything outside. Location is great, close to Tivoli gardens - and our room view was also good. My reco would be, think twice!
Nice hotel just in the heart of the Copenhagen with couple of compromises ... Air conditioning in the room didn't work for whole 11 days stay, coffee machines too often out of order, room cleaning ordered via online service take place day later. On the other hand personal helpful and nice all the time. Breakfast choices fulfilled my needs. If choosing this traditional hotel, keep in mind it's without any parking spaces and you'll need to use public parking house couple of hundreds meters away and pay each separate day because hotel didn't have agreement with parking company. We had a wonderful stay here. The hotel is beautifully located, making it easy to explore the city, and the accommodations were comfortable and welcoming. I especially want to recognize Sam at the front desk. He handled our check-in and immediately made us feel at home. Sam was friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the process. His warm hospitality set the tone for our entire stay and made a great first impression. Thank you to Sam and the entire team for providing such excellent service. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Copenhagen.
Great hotel in a perfect central location — everything was easily accessible and convenient for exploring the city. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. A special thanks to the front desk representative who was truly exceptional. He was extremely informative, gave great recommendations for places to visit, and even helped me book tickets. He really went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable and stress-free. Would definitely stay here again!
My stay at Scandic Palace Hotel was absolutely wonderful. The hotel combines historic charm with modern comfort, creating a unique and elegant atmosphere. The architecture is beautiful, and the interior design preserves the character of this iconic building while offering all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The location is outstanding, right in City Hall Square and within walking distance of many of Copenhagen’s top attractions. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and professional, and the overall experience was smooth and relaxing. Overall, a fantastic hotel in the heart of Copenhagen stylish, historic, and perfectly located.
