A relatively affordable hotel in Copenhagen and with a great location. The hotel got a modern Scandinavian design and is quite clean. However, one downside is the lack of air conditioning. We happened to visit during a heatwave (the hottest day on record in Denmark!) which made the nights quite uncomfortable and difficult to sleep through due to the heat. Opening the windows helped slightly, but it also meant dealing with noise from outside. There was a night with crazy thunderstorm and heavy rain and we ended up closing the windows and suffering with the trapped heat inside the room… The hotel does offer fans for guests to borrow, but it may still not be sufficient during extreme heatwave conditions. I will recommend this hotel if you are coming in a cooler season, otherwise, go for a hotel with air conditioning!!!

Overall a very good hotel, excellent reception desk that is always ready to explain and help, excellent breakfast with very good service, the hotel location is excellent with very convenient public transportation, restaurants and cafes all around. The rooms are good but only one thing in my opinion bothers me and that is the lack of air conditioning or at least a fan, this week on a hot night we left the windows open and it was still very hot in the room, because if you close the curtain there is no air at all. Maybe a hotel that is more suitable for any time except summer???

Decent hotel overall. Pros: About a 25-minute walk to the city center where all the shops are. The beds and sheets are very comfortable, and the staff—including housekeeping—were extremely friendly. Parking is a bit pricey, but it’s conveniently located right in front of the building and assigned. Breakfast is the same thing every day, but good. Cons: -The bathroom had a noticeable urine odor when we arrived. I believe it may be due to the shower and toilet sharing the same tiled floor and drainage system. The drain didn’t work properly and would flood the entire bathroom floor so maybe people before us urinated while showering and the odor stayed since the drainage is no good. It would not drain unless the cover was completely removed. After cleaning the area myself with soap and the shower head, the initial smell improved. -each night the room developed a strong rotten egg/chemical-like odor. We had to air out the room daily by opening the windows, which was difficult given how cold it was outside. The front desk was unable to tell me what that was, so we ended up sleeping with the smell everyday. -The other issue is that because the shower and toilet share the same floor, anytime you showered everything got wet, so we had to ask for extra towels to mop the floors dry every time we showered. - you can hear the neighbors next to you and above. Every time the upstairs was showering, using the bathroom, or talking, we could hear it. -they don’t provide shampoo or conditioner or bar of soap, only body wash. -The room is super dark honestly and could use wayyyyy more lighting. Overall the hotel was decent and the staff were excellent.

Nice hotel in the wider city center. 40 minutes (clean) drive and walk from Copenhagen airport. About 30 minutes to most sights. It is a 7-minute walk to the "Frederiksberg Allé" metro stop. I liked that after contacting the hotel reception they made us an offer that was acceptable to us. You can choose the size of the room. We chose a simple room for a short stay (3 nights), which was smaller, but we wanted one in advance and counted on it. The room had everything you need for a short stay (about 3-4 nights). The room included a separate toilet, shower, sink. If you want to stay longer, I recommend paying extra for a larger room. Breakfast was what it should be in similar types of accommodation. Simple in a small space, but at the same time with everything that most people like. Sweet vs. savory, fresh bread and pastries - delicious, scrambled eggs, sausages, beans, haruľky, salami, ham, salad with mozzarella and nuts - I've never eaten that and my girlfriend and I really liked it, fruit, yogurts, etc. The hotel also has a reception with a minibar. In short, everything in the hotel seemed so small to me, but that's not a criticism, but I rather consider it an excellent use of space, where on the other hand I didn't feel cramped at all. We are from Slovakia, overall, visiting Copenhagen was a more expensive expense for us, but we don't regret it at all. In conclusion, I would just add that when reading some negative reviews, I would only say that this hotel meets everything you need for a short visit to Copenhagen. These people either don't know what they want, or they wanted a lot for little money. On the other hand, there is a high probability that such people sleep in a "storage room and stable" at home and think that everyone in the world is just waiting for them. :-)

We loved our stay at Hotel Sct. Thomas! The location was perfect for us, the metro is not too far and brings you to a lot of important places or nice neighbourhoods around Copenhagen! Also walkable to the central station. The surroundings of the hotel were really nice as well, with a supermarket close by and some cute cafe’s and shops! The room was clean and comfortable and the staff invited us in a friendly manner. We recommend this hotel!
